Makati
Everyone knows that Makati is home to many shopping centers and hotels. It is one of the few central financial/business districts in the country and is home to thousands of expatriates, prominent people, and businessmen.
Forbes Park, Makati
First up for Makati is Forbes Park. This is one of the first villages developed by Ayala Corporation, a company known for developing high end places in the country. This place is also the most popular among the high end villages in Makati and it is home to Manila Golf and Country Club, and Manila Polo Club.
Urdaneta Village, Makati
Urdaneta Village is a peaceful and cozy community within in Barangay Urdaneta. It’s one of the smaller villages in Makati but the community is gated and the houses are luxurious and spacious.
This upscale village is the closest to the business district. Some landmarks are the Peninsula Hotel, Ayala Triangle Park, and Makati Avenue. Major roads are also accessible from the village. These roads are EDSA, Makati Avenue and Ayala Avenue.
Dasmarinas Village, Makati
This is another popular village in Makati. If you’ve ever heard of “Dasma” then you’ve heard of this place. It’s an “over the top” village that has been known for its super stringent security.
Dasmariñas Village houses a number of foreign embassies, as well as many shops, restaurants, and a prominent church in Sanctuario de San Antonio. It was developed by Ayala Corporation in the 1960s and here’s a fun fact: this village is the first housing development to include air conditioning in all the houses as a standard feature.

Greenhills, San Juan
Let’s leave Makati and move over to San Juan, a first class highly urbanized city in Metro Manila. Greenhills is a gated community that is safe and secure. It is frequented for its shopping complex and is famous for Club Filipino.
